Some of the greatest changes with Google regarding the Panda update seem to be with Video websites like Youtube. Below is listed a few of the best and worst changes of the Google Panda update. It seem that the primary change of their algorithm is a focus on unique content, and possibly more video for a greater visual appeal to the user. I have a few websites that have changed dramatically as to the way websites are positioned(or SERP- Search Engine Results Page) in search.

It seems many websites had little or no change from Panda, and maintaining good web design and search engine practices will ensure that your website will perform, and takes a lot of pressure off from changes like the former. When building your website, using things like good H1 and title tags can make a difference in how a website will perform. Use unique content(the text that’s on your page) always so your search position is not depreciated by a duplication type of penalty.
The goal is to have a website the is usable, and it seems that Panda is leaning more toward user experience verses just simple SEO.
